Britney Spears
Britney Spears was born in Kentwood, Louisiana, U.S.A. on December 2nd 1981 to James Parnell Spears and Lynne Irene Bridges. Britney was great at gymnastics and won many competitions. At age of seven, Spears was awarded silver first-prize for Miss Talent USA.
A pop singer, dancer and actor, Britney appeared on Disney’s The New Mickey Mouse Show in 1993 and in 1994. Her debut song “Baby One More Time” was an instant hit. In January 1999, Britney released her album with the same title “Baby One More Time” and that was reached at #1 in the Billboard 200. In 2000, Britney released her second album “Oops!… I Did It Again” and that was also reached at #1 in the Billboard 200.
Britney’s third album “Britney” and fourth album “In the Zone” were also debuted at #1 in the Billboard 200. Spears is the only female in the music history whose first four studio albums debut at number one. In November 2004, Spears released her fourth album “Greatest Hits: My Perogative”. Britney Spears has launched her own line of perfume called Curious.
