An American singer-songwriter, Beyonce Knowles lost the Oscar to Helen Mirren. Helen Mirren won the Oscar award for her wonderful performance in the movie “The Queen”. Destiny’s Child member, Kelly Rowland was really shocked by this and said Beyonce will have plenty of Oscars in the future.

In 2003, Beyonce released her solo album Dangerously in Love. The album reached at #1 in the U.S. and the UK album charts. Knowles won her seventh solo Grammy Award. In 2006, Beyonce appeared in the movie “Dreamgirls” and was also nominated for the Golden Globe Award twice. In 2001, Knowles won the “Songwriter of the Year” award.
