Jessica Biel has decided against playing “Wonder Woman in “Justice League”. Apparently she didn’t realise she had to share the screen, and daybill, with half-a-dozen other faces, or something, so has given the project the birdie.

Variety had reported that the “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” actress was in talks with the studio to grab Wonder Woman’s lasso, in a movie that’s expected to feature Superman, Batman, the Flash and Aquaman as well.

EW doesn’t actually state why Biel decided – at what’s seemingly the 11th hour – not to take on the role after all (despite the trades announcing she was as good as locked for the part), but it should please those die-hard “Wonder Woman” fans who’ve been writing into us like typing’s going out of style complaining about the casting decision.

An American actress and former fashion model, Jessica Biel was born March 3, 1982, in Ely, Minnesota to Jonathan Edward Biel and Kimberly Conroe. In 1996, Jessica starred as Mary Camden in the WB’s successful family drama, 7th Heaven. In 1999, Biel was named one of PEOPLE magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People”.

Jessica starred in a number of movies including Summer Catch (2001), The Rules of Attraction (2002) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003). Jessica has hazel eyes and brown hair.

In 2005, Jessica appeared in Stealth with Jamie Foxx and in London with Chris Evans. In 2006, Biel appeared in the movie “The Illusionist” which received good reviews and also obtained a good profit at the box office.

In her spare time she is involved with charities such as Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and PETA. Biel’s hobbies include ballet, soccer, running, yoga and hiking. Jessica also is an amateur photographer.
