This time Keira Knightley’s film titled “Atonement” has been chosen as the opening film at the 2007 Venice Film Festival. The film is directed by Joe Wright and is based on the Ian McEwan’s novel of the same name.

Wright stated that going to the Venice film festival is just like a dream come true. For the first film titled “’Pride and Prejudice”, Wright won the BAFTA award. Atonement is the second film of the young director, Wright.

The head of the film festival, Marco Muller said that this is very first time in the history that ‘young’ director’s film will open the Venice film festival. Keira will not be part of the of the 4th “Pirates of the Caribbean” film.

Fans of an American Actress, Keira Knightley can watch her partially nude in the upcoming film “Atonement” directed by Joe Wright. A steamy shot of the actress has been cut from the film just because the producers found it a bit “too rude”.

Keira recently said in an interview that she loves stripping naked in her movies and finds sex scenes “liberating.” There is a hot scene in the movie with her co-star James McAvoy wherein Keira Knightley dives into a deep fountain to get back a broken vase.

Earlier in a number of movies, Keira Knightley has flashed her flesh such as in the movies: “The Jacket,” “Domino” and “The Hole”. The director Joe said that he wanted to cast Keira as a woman, a sexual character and he successfully did it in the movie “Atonement”.

Recently in an interview with the with Elle magazine, Knightly said that she just want to enjoy her life completely and has now even started to concentrate on her weight.

For her superb performance as Elizabeth Bennet in the film “Pride & Prejudice” Keira Knightley was also nominated for the Oscar award. The readers of the Empire magazine have voted her the sexiest movie star of all time.

Keira Knightley is a very good friend of the British actress Sienna Miller. After completing the third “Pirates” movie, Keira revealed in an interview that she wants to keep herself away form the two things that include swords and ruddy big ships for some time.

Currently the actress Keira is filming “The Edge of Love” with her best friend Sienna Miller and other actors include: Cillian Murphy and Matthew Rhys. Keira has also revealed that she never reads newspapers, because she don’t like the way news are represented to people. Miller and Knightley love to spend a lot of time off-set with each other.
