An American actress, Sharon Stone attended Shanghai film festival on 16th June 2007. Around 270 film celebrities attended this grand ceremony. The very first Shanghai International Film Festival was held in 1993. The festival ended on 24th June 2007. The ceremony comprised of 800 film shows as stated by the organisers.

Sharon Stone is well known for her role in the blockbustor film titled “Basic Instinct” in 1992. In 1977, Sharon began her modelling career with the Ford Modeling Agency in New York. After this, she starred in a number of TV commercials that include: Burger King, Clairol and Maybelline.
