Salma Hayek has given birth to a baby girl
Salma Hayek has given birth to a baby girl on September 21, Valentina Paloma Pinault, her publicist announced Friday.
“Mother and child are doing well,” publicist Cari Ross said in a statement. No other details were released.
It is the first child for the 41-year-old Mexico-born actress, who is engaged to French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault.

Hayek, who has appeared in more than thirty films, is currently enjoying success as an executive producer of the hit U.S. TV series Ugly Betty. She is also chief executive of Ventanazul, a production company she formed with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Inc.

Pinault, 45, is the chief executive officer for luxury goods company PPR SA, which owns such high end labels as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and Puma. He has two children from a previous marriage which ended in divorce in 2004.
